Story Time Pictures

Here are some great pictures from our Fancy Nancy Mother's Day Tea Party that were just too cute not to share.

The Table is set and the books are ready. Fancy Nancy would have liked our tea party, I think.

After the story, Ms. Amber passes out plates for our delicate finger sandwiches.

Ms. Amber pours the tea and everyone enjoys the party!

Eric Carle's Blog

Readers: I thought I would share a link that I found this morning: it is Eric Carle's personal blog, and it is so fun to see this living artist and writer in his daily habitat. Also, you'll be able to get a sneak peek at the caterpillar who will come help us celebrate on June 20. I am so excited.

Please take a look at Eric Carle's Blog when you have a minute!

Eric Carle Obsession

For the next few weeks leading up to our Library is Crazy About Carle event, we will be focusing on some of Eric Carle's most beloved works. I know that many of my regular story timers often read his books, so I thought it would be a great time to visit the world of Eric Carle together. And don't worry: the crafts will be completely different from the exciting ones we're planning for the event on June 20 at the downtown branch.
Join us for story time!

Join us in thanking mothers everywhere for all they do!
